Week 2: Journal 2

In your journal, continue your list of nouns and adjectives by adding in five to ten verbs and adverbs. Then, write a couple of sentences using your list of nouns, adjective, verbs, and adverbs. NOUNS: radio girl stage music police thief rabbit carrot jacket street kids ADJECTIVES: beautiful red white young garden flower tree VERBS: dancing playing sits biting wearing dashing blows sitting grown ADVERB: loudly happily quietly swiftly softly The beautiful girl is dancing happily on the stage. The young kids turned on the radio loudly for their own enjoyment. The police was dashing swiftly across the street to chase after the thief wearing a red jacket. The white rabbit sits quietly in its cage biting a red carrot. Sitting under a tree, I can hear the wind blows softly, and smell the fragrance of the flowers grown inside the garden.

Week 2: Journal 1

Write down a list of at least five to ten nouns and five to ten adjectives as you observe a scene at home, work, or in your community. Continue your list of nouns and adjectives by adding in five to ten verbs and adverbs. Then, write a couple of sentences using your list of nouns, adjective, verbs, and adverbs. NOUNS: fan kids noise flowers garden cars oven chicken ADJECTIVES: hot old red yellow green humble VERBS: rotating is/are stand running baking ADVERB: noisily happily proudly swiftly The fan is rotating noisily. The hot oven is baking a chicken. The kids are running happily inside the garden. The red and yellow flowers stand proudly among the green grass and humble leaves. This old car can still run along the road swiftly.
